Android vs Apple

Discovered by chance that my mobile phone subscription ends today and I can choose a new phone!

Really want a smartphone, but no Apple... dont like their monopoly & can't get the hang of the zoom function... also read somewhere that google is planning to attack Apple's market. always rooting for the underdog am opting for an Android smartphone.

just spent the last hour googling phones & cannot make up my mind. these things seem more complicated by the minute. all i really need are the phone and sms function. i use my office blackberry for everything else & it seems a bit much to have TWO smartphones. (besides lugging the two around wherever i go. need a new BAG!)

healthwise i feel much much better. we had our strategy meeting on the shores of lake lucerne wed & thur. was surprised that i managed to concentrate for most of the two days, especially after Monday, where I lasted just under an hour before taking myself out of the meeting.
I do wonder if I am not overdoing things, but hope for the best. am becoming quite the recluse, avoiding contact & only concentrating on one thing and one person at a time, helps me last longer but i feel limited.

Realized that these meds I am taking are in fact really strong and I should not expect any miracles (or to be able to play sports) for some time.
Was glad that the doctor was frank, because it is difficult to perceive how they are affecting me. Am in my own little cottonwool-world all the time.

He told me that a "normal"/mild dose is 5-10mg, compared to me gaily popping 65mg, not to mention the 3000mg they gave me in hospital... and when I stop taking the pills they will go on working on my system for 4 more weeks.
It put things into perspective and I drastically reduced my secret expectance of suddenly waking up and being myself again in the next couple of days.

I have been feeling better and I do find that my concentration is better and words do come more quickly, but I still have to stop and think, or rather claw through this empty cottonwooly brain looking for the elusive thought / sentence / word / whatever I want to spout. Gets quite frustrating. But every day is better, much better, so am quite happy. Do still feel the pressure at my temple and my nose gets quite tingly at times, but should go away... hopefully soon!
