This year I feel like its the first time I truly appreciate the beautiful foilage Autumn brings about. I always loved the season, especially during the year I spent as a sales rep. Driving home from La Chaux-de-Fonds was magical. Somehow though, may it be because, in contrast to the urban jungle of NYC, I am slowly starting to appreciate the simpler things in life, this year Autumn seems super special. I could just stare at the changing colours all day.
I spent the weekend upstate in the Catskill Mountains (= hills). The surroundings were breathtaking.
The resort, Honor's Haven, felt a bit like Eccles Hall (Camp Beaumont) , where we used to go for summer camp in England. I remember I used to sneak off and just wander around the grounds, exploring, admiring.
Met some interesting people from all walks of life. Really amazing what people are doing and humbling to hear what others are going through.
