i find the amount of time i spend staring at bridal magazines kinda freaky.
but i can't stop myself!
Walking through town, anything remotely bridal deserves a second look. as disgusting as it may be. bridal shops are everywhere (used to be shoes), and if i don't see one straight away, some part of my brain sniffs one out like i'm an effing bloodhound.
i don't recognise myself!
it's like Carrie in SATC (the film): she wants a simple wedding and suddenly everything gets blown out of proportion when she receives that Vera Wang dress.
My trigger was Manuel's sudden desire to have a traditional church wedding.
Was not expecting that at all. Don't mind, it's just one more thing to organise.
What I am NOT looking forward to is organising the little things, like decorations / flowers / table centerpieces, etc. Those beautiful details that make everything come together.
I've never had an eye (or time) for detail and it irks me that I will probably end up slaughtering half a ton of flowers, only to chuck em away after a couple of hours. wonder if i can rent some plants from ikea?
listen to me, the only thing i can yak on about is d-day.
i am BRIDEZILLA!
