what a relaxing weekend... I did not want it to end!
Spent the days lounging around doing absolutely nothing. Bliss.
After a gruelling week at work, it was exactly what I needed.
The end of the year is approaching rapidly, to quickly for my taste!
There are so many things to be done, which cannot be left undone.
At least we have definitely decided on the venue for our wedding dinner. One great weight off my shoulders. (ok, a slight exaggeration there, have not been giving this wedding THAT much thought - yet. Apart from the ideas on this blog.)
I want to fit a traditional English high-tea into this wedding somewhere.
Only downside is, if everyone gorges themselves on cake & scones (like I know they will) they won't eat any dinner. Will have to make everyone work out / go jogging between the tea and dinner! except if we start early... and have a brunch. Say ceremony at 12h and 13:00h brunch / tea-party with wedding cake. Afterwards everyone can do whatever they want (and we will organise some kind of amusement) until a "select crowd" rejoins us for dinner... hmm, that may work!
We discussed marrying on July 31st... free fireworks :-)
It is a Sunday, so people have the whole day. Plus everyone is off on August 1st, no qualms about staying late to party.
