Love it over here. Can not stop grinning.
Am walking around like the village idiot with a huge smile on my face.
(Thankfully am not the only one, get by pretty well as one of the numerous star-struck tourists)
This happiness throws me right back to my childhood: As soon as I got off the plane in England or Singapore I felt alive, like anything was possible. And now? Well, I just need to look out the window!
View from our bedroom at 6am (yes, old habits die hard, Manuel's still getting up this early).
Being a housewife does have some perks: I get a fixed allowance a day for manicures, pedicures, eyebrow threading (fantastic, if extremely painful), can stroll through museums, wander around shops (no shopping yet, don't know the size of my future closet), go for drinks. this is the life!
Well, will be for a month or so, until I get bored. Yes, you know me.
To be honest, it is really nice just being able to do absolutely NOTHING. And actually have the inner peace to do so! Must be something about the city's energy - we both feel so at home.
