Spent the entire afternoon apartment hunting yesterday. was so shattered that I could hardly stand in the bar at After-work-drinks. Was very interesting to see the different kind of places people live in.
Needless to say our shoebox is tiny. Really really tiny. The bedroom will fit the bed and the living area a sofa and a table. That's it. Kitchen and bathroom are so small one person is a crowd. But it is clean, bright and has beautiful wooden floors.
Thankfully we are not claustrophobic and used to living in small confined spaces together!

Went for a glass of wine across the street (yes, there's a wine bar within falling distance). They do happy hour every day: for the price of one glass of wine you can eat! Great bargain that.
The broker was a really nice guy. He's originally a watchmaker and worked for Nicolas Hayek before Swatch group. Then moved on to Bucherer Watches - so he knew Switzerland very well. Had some good stories to tell too.
